Wildride’s old Shopify setup was burdened with legacy code and a host of third-party apps that slowed down the site and made it tough to scale. They needed an ecommerce foundation that could keep up with their growth and support both new and returning customers. Although their social media channels were driving impressive traffic, they weren’t effectively converting this into loyal customers or fully leveraging email marketing to capture and nurture this momentum

To handle Wildride’s rapid growth, we implemented a Shopify Plus migration centered on optimizing site performance, scalability, and user experience. After assessing their existing setup—burdened by legacy code and slow-loading third-party apps—we chose the Reformation theme as the foundation for its clean design, reliability, and high-speed performance. This theme is specifically tailored for brands needing a visually appealing yet fast-loading site, making it ideal for Wildride’s viral social media-driven traffic.

We moved away from third-party dependencies, opting instead for Shopify-native solutions, ensuring Wildride’s ecommerce experience could be faster, more stable, and easier to maintain. Our goal was to give them a streamlined, future-proof platform that not only looked great but was built to handle high volumes of traffic.

Highlights of the migration:

  • Shopify native features: We replaced resource-heavy third-party apps with Shopify-native options, such as “complementary products” for upselling, cutting load times and boosting overall performance.

  • Quick add & sticky cart:  To improve the shopping journey, we implemented Shopify’s quick add feature, allowing customers to add products to their cart directly from the collection page without leaving it, making the experience quicker and more convenient. Additionally, we introduced a sticky cart—a small cart icon that remains accessible as customers browse, making it easy for them to check out whenever they’re ready.

  • Enhanced product pages: Key product details are now organized into collapsible tabs, providing quick access to shipping info, FAQs, and unique selling points (USPs) that build customer confidence. We also added dynamic image sections connected to metafields, so each product page shows images tailored to the specific product—like photos of customers using the black carrier for that product page—offering a more personalized, engaging experience.

  • Influencer showcase page: To leverage Wildride’s social reach, we created a dedicated influencer page featuring key personalities, including Hilary Duff (26.9 million followers), all connected through metaobjects with product links.

Klaviyo email marketing: Turning traffic into a thriving community

 With social media consistently drawing in new visitors, Wildride’s next focus was on deepening customer loyalty and fostering lasting engagement. Our Klaviyo consultancy team stepped in to design an email marketing strategy that transformed high-traffic moments into a loyal Wildride community. By capturing attention at every site visit and social click, we helped convert casual browsers into dedicated customers.
